What is SoCal Gaming Expo?
SoCal Gaming Expo is the largest retro gaming & collectibles themed convention in the Los Angeles and Orange County area.
Who is the organizer?
SoCal Gaming Expo was founded in 2015. It is owned and managed by SoCal Gaming Expo, LLC which a small group of gaming enthusiasts operates.
Where is the show located?
SoCal Gaming Expo is hosted at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, CA. 300 E Green Street, Pasadena, CA 91105
What are the show hours?
Saturday 10am - 8pm
Sunday 10am - 5pm
Those who purchase our "Ultra Combo Gold Edition 2 Day Package" will have one (1) hour early access starting at 9am both days.
Attending SCGE
Where can I pick up my tickets?
Tickets purchased online will be emailed a confirmation and a QR Code. Please bring printed copies of the email tickets or the QR code on your phone to the show to pick up badges and wristbands at the registration area.
Can I purchase tickets at the show?
Yes, we will have an area for purchasing tickets at the show. Tickets bought the day of are $5 more per day than tickets purchased online. We accept cash and credit cards for purchases.
I am a special guest, volunteer, or vendor - where do I pick up my tickets?
We will have a Will Call at the registration area with a list and your name on it. You can bypass any ticket lines and go direct to Will Call.
What is the refund policy?
We don't offer refunds on any SoCal Gaming Expo tickets. Tickets can be given to other attendees if you are unable to attend and are not name-specific.
Are there any discounted hotels you offer at the show?
Yes! We are working with Hotel Dena who is offering a discounted rate and it is directly connected to the Pasadena Convention Center. Click Here for our hotel page for more info and a booking link.
Where do I park?
There is an attached paid parking garage to the Pasadena Convention Center. There are also numerous other parking garages in the area as well as metered on street parking available.
Is there food available at the show?
Yes, there are concessions at the show on the Exhibit Hall floor that serves food during Show Hours. There are also numerous restaurants and food options within a short walking distance of the Pasadena Convention Center. Please note outside food and drinks are not permitted to be brought into the venue.
What sort of payment do vendors accept?
Most vendors will accept many forms of payment including cash, credit cards, Venmo, Zelle and Paypal. It is up to the vendor's discretion how they want to collect payment and some may only accept cash.

What do I do if I find or lose something?
Please bring all found items to the SoCal Information Booth in the Lobby. Lost and found will be located here.
Are vendors allowed to sell bootlegs at SCGE?
The buying and selling of counterfeit or knock-off items is not tolerated at SoCal Gaming Expo. SCGE is a celebration of gaming and pop culture and bootlegs are not allowed. Violation of this rule will result in one and only one warning. A second violation and you will be removed from the show.
Can I take pictures and video?
Yes for the most part you are welcome to take pictures and videos at SoCal Gaming Expo. Note that recording and flash photography are not permitted in the panels. Please understand that guests may or may not pose for photographs with fans. Guests have a right to their privacy and if they ask not to have their picture taken, please respect their wishes.
Will I be on camera?
There is a good chance you may, there will be professional videographers filming many of the events that take place at the show as well as youtubers, tik tokers and other social media influencers. In purchasing a ticket to the Show and in consideration for being admitted to the Event, the holder consents to being recorded (by audio, visual and/or other means).
Will Guests sign autographs?
SCGE will feature tons of guests who will sign autographs in the Autograph/Guest Area and at various booths on the Show Floor. Feel free to bring an item for them to sign. While some guests will sign autographs at no charge, this is ultimately up to the guests' individual discretion and many guests will charge for autographs.
There may also be an autograph certification organization on site that can authenticate signatures.
Is there WiFi in the Pasadena Convention Center?
To access wifi on the Show Floor or throughout other areas, wifi must be purchased directly from the Pasadena Convention Center.
Can I bring items to sell or trade to vendors?
Yes, we do allow attendees to bring a limited number of items they may want to sell or trade to vendors on the show floor. Items can also be brought in to consign at the Video Games & Collectibles Auction.
Can I bring my pet?
Please leave your pets at home. The Pasadena Convention Center will not allow animals, except for service animals, into the building.
Hey, I see there will be a skate ramp at the show can I bring my board and skate?
No, The skate ramp is for professionals only that we bring in for the show and have agreements with. There will be a various performance times at the show for attendees to spectate only.
